Park Hoog Oostduin has won the Gulden Feniks 2020 in the transformation category!
cepezed transformed an outdated former Shell office in The Hague Benoordenhout into a luxury apartment complex in lush green surroundings. In doing so, we made as much use as possible of the existing architectural and modernist characteristics. The quality of this approach has now been rewarded with the prize of the National Renovation Platform for reusing the existing built environment. "The way the offices have been transformed into apartments is interesting and shows great craftsmanship and smartness. The attention to logistics and functionality is also above average. Innovation, energy: everything is in there and everything is right," says the jury. In total, there were about seventy entries, ten of which were visited. This afternoon the prize ceremony took place during a private meeting with a limited number of attendees in the Caballero Factory in The Hague.
