Architectural dream
The building by former government architect Jan Vrijman (1865-1954) was in use as the Technology Museum, part of Delft University of Technology. In 1990, it was classified as a municipal monument, and it acquired the status of national monument in 2003.In 2008, the Technology Museum left the complex. The industrial atmosphere, the many windows and the light they bring into the building were a problem for the museum, but fitted in perfectly with the character of an architectural office such as cepezed.
