Havy Nguyen

Havy has been working at cepezed since 2026. She brings an inquisitive perspective, with a focus on how design choices made today can contribute to the adaptability of buildings in the future.

Havy studied Built Environment at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, specialising in architecture. As part of her graduation studio on circular values, she explored how buildings can be improved through circular design and material choices that contribute to creating future-proof and adaptable spaces. Her studies therefore brought together design, technology and sustainability.

The fact that Havy recognised this focus at cepezed was a decisive factor in her choice to join the practice. “I am drawn to the way of thinking and working in which adaptability, flexibility and sustainability come together,” says Havy. At cepezed, she sees this reflected in daily practice, where design choices are continually assessed in terms of how a building can adapt to new requirements and users in the future.

Alongside her work at cepezed, Havy continues to deepen her knowledge of the profession: she is currently studying part-time for a Master’s degree in Architecture at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and Urban Design. This allows her to enrich her understanding of circularity and adaptive design through the practical experience she gains at cepezed, and vice versa.
