Frederico has been working at cepezed since 2025. He is highly meticulous and thoughtful, qualities he combines with an intrinsic and genuine eagerness to learn.

Frederico graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Oporto in Portugal. He enriched his academic journey with an Erasmus year in Milan and an internship in Switzerland, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in detailed projects and heritage buildings. For his thesis, Frederico designed an urban development and masterplan for his hometown of Funchal, on the island of Madeira.

What appeals to Frederico about cepezed is the practical, results-driven, and above all no-nonsense approach to architecture. He appreciates cepezeds’ focus on making clever, sustainable choices with a clear commitment to quality. Before joining cepezed, Frederico spent 13 years working for a UK-based firm, where he felt a similar mindset and approach.

Frederico enjoys contributing to projects that are both technically challenging and socially relevant. A prime example is the plus ultra mainz, a multi-tenant building for laboratory research to which Frederico contributes. His high-level technical expertise proves especially valuable in the project’s detailed technical planning.

Outside of work, Frederico is passionate about travelling. “It remains the best way to learn about our profession,” he says.
