Thursday April 29, producer and supplier of aluminum systems Wicona will host its online International Conference 2021. The theme is sustainability for modular & flexible buildings. cepezed architect Ruben Molendijk is one of the speakers.
Wicona has put together an interesting program for the conference, with speakers from different backgrounds; from designers to trend watcher Adjiedj Bakas and sustainability director Jean-Marc Moulin of aluminum group Norsk Hydro. Ruben will talk about cepezed's design approach, which has an important focus on the minimization of material use, but also incorporates issues such as long-term flexible user options, modular prefabrication and circularity.
