The cepezed-designed restaurant and meeting centre The Green House is nominated for the Dutch Sustainable Construction Awards 2019. The circular building in the heart of Utrecht is one of the three nominees within the projects category. Three contenders were also nominated in the two other categories, housing associations and municipalities. The jury with among others sustainability professor Andy van den Dobbelsteen selected the nominees because of the affordability and scale-up possibilities of the measures taken, but also considered the cooperation between participants and an integral approach of sustainability. The winners will be announced February 14th during the Duurzaam Gebouwd Congres in Leeuwarden.
