Heijnen paid a work visit to winners of the Circular Awards 2022 last Monday. Menno Rubbens, cepezedprojects director and Circular Hero 2022, welcomed the state secretary at Lagemaat in Heerde. Menno Rubbens presented three circular projects where cepezed, cepezedprojects and Lagemaat work together: The relocation of the remountable Temporary Court Amsterdam to Enschede (with temporary storage in Heerde), the relocating of the Zuiderstrandtheater from Scheveningen to Oss, and turning reclaimed materials from the former provincial government building in Arnhem into a new circular center for Lagemaat in Heerde. Heijnen was also immediately updated on the developments in the area of low-nitrogen construction. cepezed, cepezedprojects and Du Prie Bouw & Ontwikkeling are pioneering this with the project PI Scheveningen, which is right next to a Natura-2000 area.
