The QAA will enter into force on January 1, 2022, at the same time as the Environment and Planning Act, with the aim of better implementation and fewer defects. It includes stricter supervision and more liability for builders.
Designing and building with modular prefabricated elements significantly increases the quality of construction and also enables faster construction. Prefab is therefore an important key to both the objectives of the QAA and the builder's risk reduction.
