Wijnen Bouw, commissioned by Kadans Science Partner, will start construction of the new building Plus Ultra Amsterdam at the end of this year. The highly sustainable premises, designed by cepezed, is certified BREEAM-outstanding. The multi-tenant building offers both laboratory and office space especially for companies and institutions in the medical field.

The building, which will be located on the Medical Business Park Amsterdam and will cover some 8,200 m², is specifically aimed at providing new impulses for further innovation in the life sciences & health sector.
sun protection and energy generation
Vertical vins fitted with solar panels on the south-east and south-west facades generate solar energy as well as providing sun protection. The roof structure with installations is also covered with solar panels. And for an optimal climate control and efficient energy management, use is also made of a heat recovery system, a and climate ceilings.
