finishing touches to prefab bridges arsenaaldelft

Haasnoot Bruggen from Rijnsburg is currently putting the finishing touches to the two new bridges for ArsenaalDelft. The welding work is being completed, the wear-resistant coating applied and the handrails mounted. The bridges are part of the redevelopment of the monumental building complex, which will house a hotel, restaurant, conference center and exhibition space. The bridges will be installed by the end of February.

sleek, elegant and lightweight
The prefabricated pedestrian bridges of thirteen and sixteen meters long fit in with the existing situation perfectly. The arc-shaped design rhymes with the countless traditional bridges in the center. The elegant, minimalistic appearance retains the view over the historic quays of the Delft.

monumental quays
To protect the monumental quays that surround ArsenaalDelft, the bridges are supported by a hidden pole construction below the water surface. The bridges connect directly to the quay level, so that the quays remain in their existing state and do not require raising. In addition, the two pedestrian bridges have been designed in such a way that they can easily be removed in the future.

vibrant location
ArsenaalDelft will be a vibrant place with various public functions. The new bridges facilitate access to the complex, which is located on a peninsula between two canals. One of the bridges leads to the restaurant's new water terrace. Construction of this terrace will start at the end of this month, together with the installation of the bridges.

renovation of former army museum
The historic armamentarium, which was the military museum for a long time, has recently undergone a metamorphosis. cepezed designed the plan for this, cepezedinterior the indoor environment and cepezedbouwteam took care of the implementation coordination. cepezedprojects is involved as a developer.
