With a smashing party, the college building that cepezed designed in the Sluis neighborhood of Amsterdam opened yesterday. Students of Inholland University can use this building for multidisciplinary education. Eyecatcher is the spectacular, wide staircase with seats and plants, which leads up from the entrance hall. Keywords for the design are: openness, daylight and spaciousness. For Inholland, the building embodies the inspiring collaborations between its courses and research projects on which the school focuses, with the intention of connecting city, region and education. cepezed found it a challenging task and fantastic to be one of the pioneers in the still developing Sluisbuurt, where the sustainability ambition is high.
