hans cool member of the better bus stop competition jury

Betterbus cover

cepezed-architect Hans Cool is a member of the jury for the international UNI Better Bus Stop design competition - a contest that challenges designers worldwide to create ideas for the bus stop of the future.

As project architect, Hans was responsible for the cepezed design of the Tilburg bus station, which received worldwide press attention. From that position, he was asked by UNI to be part of the expert panel that judges the plans. The online judging started last week and will continue until the end of April. The winning plans will be announced by Hans and his fellow jury members on 20 May.

UNI is an international platform for architectural research and is dedicated to providing opportunities for architects and designers to explore ideas that push the boundaries of the architectural discipline and enrich the built environment. Besides publishing research and projects and giving seminars, UNI organises numerous design competitions, such as the one for The Better Bus Stop - Making public transport fun again.

For more information, visit the UNI.xyz website and take part in the public vote on the Entries page.
