Coming Saturday June 20th, marks the launch of the Sustainable week; the largest sustainability festival in The Netherlands! With the slogan Green Up Your Life, a variety of presentations, lectures and lively discussions with interesting speakers and professionals from the field will take place until Sunday June 28th. The cepezed-designed circular hub The Green House in Utrecht will host some inspiring offline meetups!

The two-layered pavilion The Green House is located near Utrecht Central Station and was designed as a generic construction kit. It accommodates a circular catering concept and meeting facilities, while it also is the location for numerous meetings and events in the field of circularity. One of its special features is the 80 m² urban farm, where herbs and vegetables for the restaurant are grown. In line with to the principles of circularity, the entire building, including the foundation, is demountable.

Former BNN presenter Dennis Storm kicks off (online) on Saturday June 20th. He will relate about the why and how of his present minimalistic lifestyle. Why does he think that the minimalistic philosophy is the answer to the question of how we are moving towards a green future? Dennis’ vision can be followed and discussed live and corona-proof in The Green House, while enjoying products from the region and urban farm.
