cepezed end of year video 2025

This video cannot be played because your cookie settings block the use of third-party cookies (such as Vimeo).

2025 will be remembered as the year in which the Temporary Court of Amsterdam was reassembled on the university campus in Enschede. Long live the Techbank. Ten years ago, we designed the Temporary Court of Amsterdam with the explicit intention of dismantling the building after use and reconstructing it elsewhere, without knowing where or for whom. We can now speak of a successful experiment.

In 2025, new commissions were signed, buildings reached their highest point, the first trees were planted, and new buildings were officially brought into use. We realised, among others, the new international headquarters of geodata specialist Fugro, the multi-tenant laboratory building Plus Ultra Utrecht, and the Van Marken Food Innovation Center. We received an honourable mention for the healthcare centre of PI Haaglanden in Scheveningen and won the Rijnland Architecture Prize with Villa te Meijendel.

We are currently working on the National Police Office in The Hague, the Education Building Laan op Zuid, and - together with Vakwerk Architecten - on Bravis Hospital and Erasmus Hospital. We explored a new ‘wooden’ identity for the municipality of Buren, developed a demountable wing for the Sophia Children’s Hospital, and actively harvested materials for the renovation of the Universe government office building.

We thank everyone with whom we have collaborated again this year, or for the first time, wish everyone happy holidays, and look ahead to 2025.
