The orthopaedics department of the OLVG Hospital in Amsterdam West focuses on the possibilities of the patient, not on their limitations. cepezed and cepezedinterieur were commissioned to reflect this value in a new design for the outpatient clinic and lounge area.

Comfortable welcome
The outpatient clinic receives the patients at the hospitality desk. The reception and waiting area has a clear arrangement and an inviting appearance. The room is fitted with comfortable seating and special height-adjustable furniture fully geared to orthopaedic patients.
Dual-purpose meeting and reading room
If the staff do not need their meeting room, patients can use it as a reading and waiting room. The windows on both longitudinal sides of the department provide good, adjustable daylight. The greenery along the façades outside provides a pleasant view privacy and at the same time.

Two-room system
The design aimed at a visually calm experience that puts the patient at ease. In the new layout, doctors and practitioners work according to the two-room system. They can move more easily between two treatment rooms and work more efficiently as a result.
Two worlds, one design
In the materialization and decoration, cepezedinterieur introduced two worlds: examination and waiting. The examination rooms radiate professionalism and hygiene. However, the reception and waiting area and the lounge room have a warm, luxurious and welcoming atmosphere.
