Removable roof
The Pinas lies in a concrete foundation pit filled with gravel. The glass bearing walls without uprights are supported by bearing fins that are also made of glass. The supporting fins are attached to the foundation edge with angle bars. The glass ends at the top and bottom in a steel U profile that also functions as ring beam. The roof consists of a light-metal space frame, filled with plastic air cushions. It can be placed and removed in its entirety: this means that other objects can be exhibited in the future as well.
