construction celebration lan

LAN Handling Technologies had a little party today. In the presence of the Tilburg mayor Theo Weterings, the company celebrated that the construction of its brand-new building on the Loven Noord industrial estate is well under way. The foundation is completed and the steel structure is progressing steadily. The building will be completed by the beginning of 2019. The new building was designed by cepezed and cepezedinterior. The coordination and supervision of the execution is entirely in the hands of cepezedbouwteam.

LAN Handling Technologies is specialized in the design, assembly and preparation of handling and packaging systems for the agri and food industries. Currently, the Tilburg branch of the globally operating company is located in two rented buildings within the city. Because the company has grown strongly in recent times, these are now too small. With the need for more space and the chance to develop a building of its own, the firm seized the opportunity to fulfill a number of additional wishes as well. The new accommodation will, for example, also provide more comfortable workplaces, contribute significantly to the business' efficiency and become an integral part of the company's image. The new building will have an open and transparent character. that promotes short lines of communication and more direct contact between the designers in the office and the mechanics on the assembly floor. The new LAN is also fully prepared for flexible and changeable use.

The open and accessible building layout is also a means of communication towards customers, including the market leaders in the food and agri industries, who visit often. All employees within LAN have direct customer contact and thus the assembly floor also functions as a showroom for the expertise of the company. The new building comprising 1,500 m2 of office space and 5,000 m2 of halls is also clearly visible from the Tilburg ring road and therefore functions as a business card for passing traffic as well.
