The construction of the Graafschap College in Doetinchem, designed by cepezed, has entered the phase of completion. Last week the large atrium was filled with scaffolding to be able to carry out these activities there as well. The contractor has started from the second floor and is gradually working its way down.
In the meantime, the façades, consisting of an aluminum curtain wall and wooden sandwich panels, are finished with aluminum façade cassettes. In mid-March, the installation of the corten steel tree-shaped façade will start, manufactured by façade builder Metadecor from Kampen.
The completion of the building is planned for the end of June. The Sports & Exercise and Safety & Craftsmanship courses at Graafschap College start the 2018/2019 academic year in the new combined school building.
