Completed in 1988 as orthodontist practice of Dr. Nan the cepezed-designed building in Voorburg is now for more than 20 years the office of graphic design agency Optima Forma. The characteristic triangle shape of the building comes directly from the available lot. The interior was organized by three functional and free standing units, which ensured long sight lines and unobstructed views to the outside on all sides. The units were adapted over the course of recent years. To facilitate Optima Forma’s growth floor space will soon be doubled in size, designed by part-time cepezed architect Ronald van Houten (PLaN! Ontwerpburo), while maintaining shape, detailing and materialization. Together with some restauration, the building will be ready for its second life.
