After two rigorous selection rounds, the cepezed-designed Westraven office complex in Utrecht is shortlisted for the 2010 Prime Property Award. The Prime Property Award is directed towards realized sustainable developments in Europe and an initiative of the international investment company Union Invest, which has its home market in Germany. Important partners are the International Union of Architects (Paris), the International Federation for Housing and Planning (The Hague) and the German Sustainable Building Council (Stuttgart). The contenders have been judged in terms of remarkable performances in the fields of socio-cultural sustainability, ecological sustainability and commercial sustainability. Selected from 142 developments, Westraven is now one of the fourteen best sustainable projects in Europe from the last five years. These fourteen projects are a.o. collected in a publication and exhibited during the Sustainable Investment Conference, which takes place on October 5th during the EXPO REAL property show in Munich.
