The construction of the new SintLucas college in Eindhoven progresses fast and steadily. On Wednesday February 17th, the project topped out, which was properly celebrated. The steel construction of the tower is completed now and on the lower sections, the sandwich panels and curtain wall have already been positioned.
The new location of the creative-technical and entrepreneurial vocational training comes about on Strijp S, in the monumental remainders of the former Philips Natlab and a substantial expansion hereof.
Starting next school year thus, SintLucas is housed in an urban zone which has drawn a lot of creative professionals and institutions over the last years. This strongly adds to the ambition and possibilities of establishing a close creative community; within SintLucas itself, but also regarding the school in relation to its surroundings, with which a lot of mutual exchange is projected.
