The plan that cepezed architects designed for the redevelopment of the Armamentarium in Delft has importantly contributed to the sale of the complex to Driestar B.V. by the Central Government Real Estate Agency (RVB). Late 2014, cepezed projects B.V. and Driestar, an investment company in unique real estate and innovative enterprises, took the initiative for transformation into a hotel cum restaurant cum conference centre of the early seventeenth-century artillery warehouse that functioned as an army museum until recently.
During the procedure, the RVB closely cooperated with the Delft municipality. Potential buyers knew exactly what they could or could not do with the monumental complex. A preselection was made based on the quality of the plan and design. The final allocation took place based on the offered price.
