The Cocoa Factory in Helmond, which cepezed transformed into a cultural hotspot, has been nominated for the Reynaers Project Prize 2014. With the decoration, the company generates attention for the exemplary utilization of aluminium within projects. "After the many transformed factory buildings that passed the review of the Reynaers Project Prize over the last years, the Helmond Cocoa Factory now shows a new approach. The respect paid to the existing, original building is apparent, but the execution of the glazing and façades is relentlessly modern. Including LED lighting in the dormers and a huge media façade, this factory has become a contemporary culture palace," Reynaers informs on the website of the prize, where everyone can take a look at the entries and can also vote for their favorite project.
