The cepezed-designed Veilingwegcomplex of the police force Rotterdam has been selected for the shortlist of the Rotterdam Architecture Prize 2014. Thus, the project belongs to the 25 remaining contenders for prizes bestowed by both a professional jury and the public. The professional jury presided by Janny Rodermond (director of the Creative Industries Fund NL) will make its choice the coming weeks and make it known during a ceremony on Wednesday December 17 in the Rotterdam town hall, where the outcome of the public election will also be presented. Until December 5, everyone interested can vote through the website of the architecture award. The voter with the most striking motivation for his or her choice will also receive a special prize.
