Today, the second phase of the trnashipment and distribution center pf Pas Reform was opened in Doetinchem. Pas Reform Hatching Technologies is a major international player in the field of brooding technology for the poultry sector and among other things a great variety of brood machines and components.
In 2010, cepezed already realized the first phase, which was subsequently nominated for both the Architecture Prize Achterhoek and the architecture prize of the European Union, the Mies van der Rohe Award. Moreover, the project was elected BNA Building of the Year in the earstern region of the Netherlands. The jury was awe-struck with the craftmanship displayed and had a lot of appreciation for the sustainability of the constructiion in all its different aspects.
Shortly after the realization of phase I, the design for phase II started. This has almost dubbled the overall gfo, amouniting to some 8.500 m2 now. The extension has been schemed with the same minimal construction and wide spans as the original building. Also, with the same type of profiled cladding, it radiates the same austere but high-quality aesthetics
